Semi-detached homes (or simply “semi’s”) are single family dwelling homes that are built as one-half of a home. They often come in pairs that share one common wall and have very similar layouts. From an aerial view, this style of a home may look similar to a fully detached home, but from a front view, they are very different as there are two sets of front entrances and inner units. This style is very popular in cities and suburban areas and are often cheaper than detached homes.
